The New Mexico Junior Livestock Foundation is a statewide organization that recognizes the 4-H and FFA youth of New Mexico for their hard work and dedication.
The New Mexico State Fair’s Annual Junior Livestock Sale was chosen as a forum to aid these young people. Through public support and fund-raising projects, the Foundation is able to provide financial assistance in a number of ways.
Examples include college scholarships that are awarded to deserving high school seniors each year as well as the purchase of jackets for FFA and 4-H officers. In addition, NMJLF offers financial assistance to students who have entries in the Junior Livestock Sale held annually as part of the New Mexico State Fair.
New Mexico Junior Livestock Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization administered by an unpaid, volunteer board.
Since 1989 the NMJLF has issued over $260,000 in Scholarships and has spent over $400,000 at the New Mexico Junior Livestock Sale.
